The primary role of Telehealth is to provide routine care to all of our patients, especially those that are vulnerable, by keeping them at home. If you have a cold or any respiratory symptoms, please call the practice first and ask for a telephone or video consultation so that we can assess whether you need to come into the practice.
However, Telehealth is not suitable for everything. Your safety is paramount, and hence Telehealth is not possible if we need to examine you or see you in person. Your doctor and our team will help you make that decision.
Examples of consultations that may be suitable for Telehealth include such things as:
General advice about minor ailments such as colds and sore throat
Routine prescriptions and referrals
General advice and discussions about your health condition that does not require a physical examination
Preventative health advice
Counselling for such things as stress, anxiety and depression
Care plans and other consultations for helping you manage your chronic health problems
Follow up where suitable and informed by your doctor
Please ring 8850 0488 for to cancel your appointment.
Please cancel the appointment at least 2 hours before your scheduled arrival. You can do this on the app, or call us at the practice. A charge of $50 may apply if you do not arrive at the surgery for your appointment. We understand that emergencies occur so please let us know if that is the case.
